My First Time Trying Harley Benton Guitars
If you watch guitar-related videos on YouTube, you’ve likely heard about or seen videos on Harley Benton guitars. They’ve build a reputation for making fairly affordable guitars with surprisingly good specs and overall quality. Additionally, Harley Benton produces a wide variety of different models in just about every standard guitar shape you could imagine, from vintage to modern.
Despite being interested in them for many years now, I’ve never had the opportunity to try a Harley Benton guitar since I’m located in the USA and they are slightly harder to come by without ordering directly from Thomann. I finally took the plunge myself and ordered not just one, but two guitars to see if all the praise I’ve heard over the years is truly warranted. Because I’m a big fan of Les Paul style, singlecut guitars and YouTuber Agufish, I figured it would make the most sense to order the Agufish Signature model as my first Harley Bentons.
I’m pleased to report that overall, my first impression of Harley Benton was a good one. These guitars seem fairly solid despite some flaws here and there. Even with these flaws, I’m pretty impressed at the amount of premium specs crammed into guitars under $600, and I personally think they look fairly good too.
